Sarah J. Else, MBA

Principal

Sarah has over 25 years of nonprofit leadership and fundraising experience. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a BS in Education and the University of Iowa with an MBA. Sarah served ten years in the US Air Force as an aircraft maintenance officer. She has served on more than 30 nonprofit boards in Illinois, Iowa, New Mexico, Texas and Wisconsin and is currently serving on one national nonprofit board, two local nonprofit boards and the City of Cedar Rapids Veterans Memorial Commission.

Jack Else

Jack has been Clearly Compliant’s counsel since Clearly Compliant’s
inception. A veteran (U.S. Air Force); graduate of the University of
Arkansas School of Law, and licensed by the: Texas bar #09795980; Arkansas
bar #79164; Iowa bar #17649 and licensed to practice before the U.S. Supreme
Court.

The insurance industry is among the most heavily regulated of industries in
the United States. Jack has over 20 years experience in the heavily
regulated insurance industry as a lawyer which is of immense benefit when
addressing the issues facing nonprofits in the highly regulated nonprofit
regarding registration requirements. Of prime importance to Clearly
Compliant and its clients Jack has established for Clearly Compliant law and
regulation “alerts” to include proposed legislation “alerts” to ensure
Clearly Compliant is on the cutting edge of the law relevant to solicitation
and fundraising registration requirements.

Helen B. Arnold, CFRE

Principal

Helen is an internationally Certified Fund Raising Executive with 45+ years of experience.  Having served on 62 nonprofit boards, she holds a Nonprofit Management Certificate from Iowa State University.  She is an Association of Fundraising Professionals Master Trainer as well as a certified Webinar Facilitator. Helen is a contributing author to You and Your Nonprofit – Practical Advice and Tips from the CharityChannel Professional Community and The Nonprofit Consulting Playbook; Winning Strategies from 25 Leaders in the Field, both from CharityChannel Press.
